Of course, I love the children and their excitement about learning.  I also love that Brookview feels like home.  The Brookview community is supportive, nurturing and home to a wonderfully diverse population of some of the most incredible people on earth.

Interests: 
I love to cook and try out new recipes.  I love to make people laugh so joking around and being silly are things I do every day.

Susan Finster, Financial Officer

I joined Brookview's Administrative staff in 2010.   I moved to Michigan from Wyoming as a child.  I have lived in the Southwestern Michigan area ever since. 

Interests: 

I enjoy walks with my dog Jake, camping, swimming and a variety of outdoor activities.

Jennifer Spikner, Development Officer

I have held many roles at Brookview School over the years including Lower Elementary teacher, Spanish teacher, Director of Diversity, Director of Education, Executive Director, and Parent. 

I have enjoyed developing and working on several Brookview initiatives, including The Seeds of Tolerance Project, the Spanish program, the Animal Farm, and the International Student Exchange Program with Colegio Chiaravalle, in León, Mexico. 

I continue to learn and deepen my understanding of the Montessori method and philosophy. I have presented at the International Montessori Council and the National Conference of the American Montessori Society, and have published articles in Montessori Leadership Magazine. 

Interests:

I enjoy reading, browsing in bookstores and libraries, gardening, travel, theater, dance, skiing, exploring new places, learning about different cultures and spending time with family and friends.

Charlotte Lear, Office Manager

I am excited to be part of the Brookview Community.  I have over 20 years experience as an Office Manager.  My husband of 30 years, Dennis, and I have two children and two grandchildren.  My daughter, her husband and my two grandchildren live in Kentucky on Fort Campbell Army Base.  My son is a United States Marine and is stationed in Okinawa, Japan.

Interests:

I like to spend my spare time with family and friends.
